Concrete Repair: Apartment Building in East Perth

Another day.

Another concrete repair job for the team at Stable Commercial.

This time the call came from a commercial property manager concerned about an apartment complex in Hay Street in East Perth where large numbers of cracks were appearing in the underground carpark.

Upon inspection, Eddie Ostler, owner of Stable Commercial, advised that cause of the cracks was due to the failure of the tiles and membranes below them to protect the carpark from water seeping into the ground.

As a result, approximately 300 square metres of tiling and decking were removed which uncovered a further 30 square metres of concrete cancer which was removed and repaired.

In addition, approximately 80 millimetres under this, saturated creed had to be treated before being re-screeded and retiled.

As always, the clients were very happy with the job, as was the property manager.
